In typical fashion, I'm into 2013 for Xylene Dream.
As such, to whet everyone's appetite I complied a few panels from future strips into a non sequitur montage of awesomeness.

I'm likely to add a 5th to the lineup, if I can get some momentum going on PE (Politica Excessum). |

Problem with going daily, is that I need 365 of them, instead of 52. Although, 4x per week does work out to 208 per year. Damn. |

I have two more books/strips I'd love to get to, but I really can only handle the two at this point, and maintain the quality I expect out of myself. But it won't be too long before I commit to a third (my writer-editor/partner will freak when she reads that, BTW....). We all have day jobs, sometimes more than one, and kids/responsibilities/projects, that demand a lot of us, but true artists plug away anyway...Why? Money? Fame? Recognition? no....I think we all have a message we HAVE to get out. We can't NOT do these silly cartoons. I love the fact that there are multiple strips each day, and keeping a solid readership will be the key to taking the comic-creator scene to the next level. There are some seriously talented, dedicated and creative people doing some cutting edge work in this space. It's awesome. |
