After listening to these three excellent podcasts about obnoxious electronic consumer goods, selling out (with some tea party asshole,  Shepard Fairey, Ralph Nader and annoying punk bands); subscribing to the ideas of this guy; and attempting to draw something to build on the ideas of this admired cartoonist, I'm ready to turn the page on national politics for the year.  I was excited to combine and update elements of these previous Tacomics HERE, HERE, and HERE but I don't think I quite nailed it. BLAH, is what I say!  BLAH!  This cartoon just seems really flat.  You can't even really tell that the elephant and donkey are zombies strung up in the classic mussolini/night of the living dead end credits style.  A warm up cartoon.  Something I had to get out of my system.  Sorry for the inconvenience.

on 1/10/2012 @ 8:05am		Heh. Was mostly a struggle with the hand-clasp--making it look less like two octopuses locked in reproductive abandon and the rascal bound patriot kept switching into disney's little mermaid Ursila.
