I hope this latest setback for the Elks redevelopment project is not the death knell for this fantastic building. However, a lot of pretty smart people have been unable to make this thing pencil out.

I really think this opportunity calls out for a wealthy individual like a Paul Allen who just wants to make it happen. The marketplace is just too skittish for what in reality is a big white elephant.
