|The photos today are awesome, who wouldn't want to live in Tukwila?|

|Tukwila needs our help.|
What I learned in Alaska is that after a while the tableau of failed, failing, or dysfunctional towns becomes a real burden on the functional towns and a problem for their neighborhood, because they breed unrest and insecurities and attract troublemakers very well. They're like sewers, and they begin to fester. It's bad for business. And when it's bad for business, people tend to start restricting their investments, and they restrict their thinking, and it allows more barriers, so we're back to building walls again instead of breaking them down. If you have to build walls, it means you're moving backward.

|if you aren't feeling depressed enough,
here are some news links for tukwila...

|You just made me literally LOL at that comic. Excellent job, sir!
Used to date a guy that lived in Tukwila. Needless to say, it didn't work out.

|Otherwise - I enjoyed the Tukwila post...was it Chickadee? (Sorry my memory I read of something earlier today is already faded)
Also - NIN - amazing point you just made. This motivates me :)

The Bon in Tukwila.

|When I think Tukwila I usually think Ridgway victims.|

|I'm pretty sure that's the Bon from Tacoma. Macy's at Southcenter isn't on a slope, nor was that architecture ever part of Southcenter, methinks.
by thriceallamerican on 4/2/2008 @ 9:29am
|That's totally the Bon at Southcenter. With a few variations (and things have grown further apart after years of addons and construction), Southcenter and Tacoma Mall are pretty much the same damn building.|
by Erik on 4/2/2008 @ 9:36am
|The owner claims it is from Tukwila:
It's the Bon Marché to me ~ Tukwila, WA ~ June 17, 2007
by jcbetty on 4/2/2008 @ 10:04am
|hm. I guess, upon closer inspection, there is a building on the right that seems further up than at the mall... I guess I'm so accustomed to Southcenter(or should it be Westerfield?) post add-ons that I'm confused...|

|The important thing is that the maul is a travesty. We must all work to overcome this "culture of death".
Together we can make a difference.
