And it's all in jest, of course.

Scott, you can post the toon on your web page according to the license at Tacomic. You just can't download the image to your server.

There's a link to that discussion somewhere here.

Touché Scott Fontaine! You won this round with your clever use of humorous footnotes... but be warned, my anarchist comrades will eventually have the last laugh in the end for your "news story" which is really just "fawning puffery" with respect to the TPD PLUS your savage depiction of anarchists as leaderless college students looking for meaning in an indifferent cosmos. Ho ho ho!

So yeah, good cartoons are just hyper-exaggerated instances of reality so in a tribute to the mighty spumco's lummox I found a convenient means of depiction. I believe that different body types should be celebrated. It is the lies in advertising or popular culture that has tricked the populations of the world to covet certain un-realistic body types, but more on this later.

Hi Scott, you can upload the cartoon into the trib's content management system if you ask permission. If you don't want to ask you can hotlink the image (point the src="" to the copy on feedtacoma). Only people at commercial/for-profit businesses need to ask permission though.

Independent bloggers can do as they please with my cartoons as long as they dont try and make any money off them. I should write a blog post about everything you can do with the feed tacomics in the Creative Commons domain.

Painful to write though I suppose these are necessary these days to reduced the offended levels.

The suspense!

Don't you know I side with the protesting anarchists? I need know permission because I don't recognize the validity of copyright laws!

Or something kind of maybe not like that at all.

(And speaking of anarchists, if I'm a stooge of the government like others write I am, where the hell is my paycheck? Or those sweet, sweet government benies?)

by NineInchNachos on 11/13/2007 @ 5:56pm
:) yeah although I consider myself an amateur anarchist, I'm not really sided with the "Anarchists" or the "Corporate Whathaveyou" but I enjoy the conflict between the two sides.

Anyhow we're all in this together. Sorry Mr. Fontaine! I still like you though.

by NEAL on 11/14/2007 @ 12:46pm
Well, these were obviously professional anarchists.

They were organized.

by Fontaine on 11/14/2007 @ 2:10pm
Should true anarchists organize?

Should true anarchists organize?

A perpetual paradox.

by NineInchNachos on 11/15/2007 @ 8:57am
it's a kind of emergence/organization? like how the starlings flock... the chaos comes together and looks like a giant amoeba in the sky.

Or lemmings running off a cliff?

by NineInchNachos on 11/16/2007 @ 12:35pm
actually lemmings are thrown off cliffs (some say murdered) by Disney documentary filmmakers.
