I'm personally offended by this particular portrayal of the Hoff in that it completely discounts his true glory days instead for a basal Internet meme that ushered in the end of an American icon. So, in honor of a once-great man, I give you my multi-part Hoff Haiku:

Screeched onto TV
the Hoff came riding as Knight
in KITT, a dream car.

They fought crime sacking
dudes with 80s hair amidst
marriage like banter.

Graduate instead
the Hoff did to running on
and endless sunned beach.

Graduated from
a car to more breasty babes
relishing slow-mo.

Appreciation
waned at home but the world took
note of his genius.

Record contracts, fan
signings, billboard ads speak in
foreign tongues, "Heil Hoff!"

Fame begets more fame
as exponential math says
forever Hoff lives.
