If anyone is wondering why our two favorite crows set off on a completely unrelated story arc, it was this strip I drew back in April, or May, or whenever it was. I felt it looked too much like a Tacomic, and with respect to RR- I did not post it. Now, with the news that the City Manager is being removed, I figured I owed it to everyone to at least show it at least once.
Yes, the story arc continues- but soon our corvid companions will be back in town to turn over rocks and expose the slimy wriggly things hiding beneath.

by NineInchNachos on 7/13/2011 @ 8:15am | Love it! Nice rendering of the Crown Vic |
by The Jinxmedic on 7/13/2011 @ 8:28am | That's from memory, as when I did this I didn't take the time to get a reference pic. (So if you can identify it, that's good, right?) |
by daubermaus on 7/13/2011 @ 11:24am | When this was story boarded the crows were saying something else, he resisted drawing it for a week and missed a weekly deadline, when he finally drew it he changed the dialog to the current and we had a good talk about were the strip was going.
I (mere writer) am a rude and obnoxious person completely capable of giving RR a run for his money in the snark and crude department. Jinx (THE artist) is by his nature polite and considerate and does not draw half of the story boards I work up on current and local events. We are working finding a balance. Life is a work-in-progress. |
by The Jinxmedic on 7/13/2011 @ 11:53am | Yes, it's just like she said.
I am too civil for snark (?). |

by The Jinxmedic on 7/14/2011 @ 9:31am | Incidentally, I prefer using the bLink. (Walk to Freighthouse Square, take bLink, go downtown, come back. No petrochemicals involved.) (Sorry, Thorax.) |
by Thorax O'Tool on 7/14/2011 @ 2:46pm | No offense here. I'm pleased with less of it getting burned. |
