is that the old birkenstock/ace hardware location? what burned? who taught those birds to talk?
by cisserosmiley on 7/11/2012 @ 7:21am
|Poof! Is it gone? Or will they go on?|

|Your illustration style is stunning. Beautiful. You are one of the best architectural cartoonists. Ever.

|Thanks, Britton! I don't know what to say- but if there's a "secret", it's that all my perspective is freehanded, with no measured references to "vanishing points". This keeps the architecture organic.|
Fredo- them birds been a-talkin' since day one. It's what they do.

|You must sit out there and draw plein air, right? It totally works!
by The Jinxmedic on 7/11/2012 @ 9:07am
|O&J is sort of a plein air adaptation for a modified ligne claire ink medium, colored (or more accurately, toned) digitally. I do a lot of live sketching (and sometimes the inking) for these strips out there in "the world". I thought this would draw more attention than it does, but most people simply don't look around.|

|I find that a sketcher blends in completely. I've never been approached in all of my years out there. I ran into a plein air painter at Wright Park, and when I introduced myself he was in shock I even noticed him!|
Art is camouflage!

|How'd it burn?
by The Jinxmedic on 7/11/2012 @ 11:21am
|Organic compounds were reduced to carbon soilds and gaseous carbon dioxide, carbon monoxide, and water vapor through a chemical process known as "combustion".|
by cisserosmiley on 7/11/2012 @ 11:50am
|Has SHC been proven or was it all a hoax?|
by L.S.Erhardt on 7/11/2012 @ 12:45pm
|So, basically rapid oxidation.|
Thus you could say that it rusted REALLY fast.
