O&J are also getting tired of the city outsourcing jobs which could easily go to local talent. What kind of message does it send when the city says "act local" but hires out-of-state (and out-of-country!) businesses to do local projects? Are they really surprised why we keep losing local businesses? (Well, all those useless new cars for the city fleet came from Longview, at least that's in the state. I'm sure if we had car dealers in Tacoma, they would have purchased them here. Wait- what's that? We do? ....Never mind.)
