"The name came from the big catastrophe that happened in Ramstein, which is a place in Germany, where the American airforce had a flight show. They crashed and over 80 people got hurt and killed. So the first song, actually, was about that accident. And then there was always like a cause when they'd say: "Ramstein, Ramstein!"

|The dome did not burn down last night, but was a heck of a show.
A little more detail for Cissero: Ramstein Air Base (located just outside of the town of Ramstein-Miesenbach in the German state of Rheinland-Pfalz), was the site of the airshow disaster in 1988. 70 were killed, and 400 injured when aircraft of the Italian demonstration team collided, with one of the aircraft crashing directly into the crowd of spectators.
I remember this event very well from when it happened.
