That's a funny punchline. However a bureaucrat has no real regard for the wear and tear suffered by city owned vehicles. The faster the car can be worn out, the sooner they can get a new replacement.

on 1/18/2010 @ 12:22pm | I know a city employee or two whose city-owned work vehicles are a couple of 1993 Chevy Silverados.
I guess the City gives the new cars to certain departments, while others are using 17 year old vehicles.
But then again, these individuals do get out of the loft halls of 747 Market and actually do some work in this town... those Silverados must be pothole-resistant. |
