Maybe with all the new port activity some of the bars on Puyallup Ave. will enjoy a revival. I think there is a brewpub going in down there now. Good cartoon and good subject Jinx. |

by NineInchNachos on 3/21/2012 @ 8:22am | bring back the brothels ! sailors need fleecing ! |
by JesseHillFan on 3/21/2012 @ 8:57am | NineInchNachos you're talking about reviving the classic old downtown Tacoma of past.Saloons and all.I fully agree. |
by cisserosmiley on 3/21/2012 @ 9:45am | Jack Connelly law office was a brothel, his first act as our new senator could be turning it back. Campaign slogans anyone?
VOTE Connelly for more whores! |

For today's T-Town history lesson, anyone familiar with the Peter Sandberg Building in downtown? You know it, even if you don't know the name. It was built in 1907 and was home to Schonefeld's furniture for decades. Now it houses DaVita. Yup, that building. It was at one point in the 20s intended to be a brothel. Complete with housing and on-site medical care for the women. |
