by Crenshaw Sepulveda on 11/29/2009 @ 11:32am | And strangely so appropriate to Tacoma for some reason. |

by NineInchNachos on 11/29/2009 @ 6:23pm | i always watched the beast on HBO (my history teacher called it the hobo channel).
had a cool post-apocalyptic vibe |

by NineInchNachos on 11/29/2009 @ 8:55pm | Mr. Jinxmedic, in your opinion, is there hope for our empire to fair better than the soviets in the mid east? |

by Non Sequitur on 11/30/2009 @ 12:55am | Jinx, if you say "yes" then we need to sit down and have a frank discussion. |

by NineInchNachos on 11/30/2009 @ 8:10am | i think the film would have been better with fake Russian accents like in the Hunt for Red October (best movie to watch in the hot tub). |

by The Jinxmedic on 11/30/2009 @ 8:54am | I don't think Stephen Baldwin can do a fake Russian accent.
Regarding our empire's future in South-Central Asia (not the mid east, that's somewhere else), I believe that anything I might say as an opinion could be viewed as an official statement, and therefore I must refer you to the 446 AW Public Affairs office. (phew- dodged THAT one...)

by NineInchNachos on 11/30/2009 @ 9:41am | perhaps your opinion can be distilled from the contents of the strip itself...
I await future episodes with Freudian anticipation! |

by The Jinxmedic on 12/4/2009 @ 10:38am | Now that you mention it, Arkady does look just a little like "tank boy". |

by Crenshaw Sepulveda on 12/4/2009 @ 11:15am | The other fellow looks a bit like Homer Depoe, from the Home Depot. Not the guy with the beard. |

by The Jinxmedic on 12/4/2009 @ 11:29am | If you saw the real crew in the mess hall, you would instantly recognize these two as being pretty accurate characterizations of the actual people. Viktor Vasilyvich, however, is a composite of three other members of the crew (not seen in KYRGYZ 606), but are also crossed with Borat (after all, Kazakhstan does border Kyrgyzstan), ultimately making him a four-in-one character.
Homer is A LOT shorter than Vladimir- but what they do have in common is that neither is seen without their hats, so there is that. |

by Crenshaw Sepulveda on 12/4/2009 @ 11:58am | So he shares that with Beetle Baiey as well. |
