2010 was a year of wild swings between extremes for my family. We welcomed two new members of the family in May & September: my new nephews Teddy and Ben. On the other side, we lost my mom in August. In June my car was totaled in a hit and run, then later that month at Frost Park I met a wonderful woman, we're amazing together.

Life has this way of throwing you curveballs, and hiding joy amidst tragedy. I have a lot to be thankful for this year, and a lot to reflect on.

I hope this thanksgiving finds you close to the ones you love. Hold them close, you never know when you might lose them.

On a more serious note, I lost my Dad two years ago today to a horrible battle with stomach cancer. In time, things get tollerable... but that's about it. I wish I could be more encouraging here... =( Will be thinking about you today Mr Thorax... even though I really don't know you...

2011 will be a great year! I just know it! =)
