nice coloring. nice organic lines.  Dig the hand lettering.

Thanks! It's entirely hand-crafted, merely assembled in the p-'shop...It's been a loooong time coming!

Biscuits the Lamb looks like this cute little sheep toy that my cousin's daughter has. She carries it wherever she goes.

Looks slightly Stoweian in the style.

Thanks for the kind words. I've been drawing this strip since 2004...Some of the originals are here.

Biscuits is based on my own childhood Lamb toy, so precious to me that she sits high on a shelf in my kid's room...
Although I'm not opposed to picking up tricks and hints from my fellow artists, I assure you this is all me.

I draw with pen and ink, ink washes and color with crayon, found textures and fabrics. I'm glad you like it! More to come!

I drew them at work, in-between patients, and then distributed them around the clinic...Good times, but then we had kids and it got too hard to get to them. I'm finally getting the space and time to revisit them.

Gravy was actually first conceived right around the time Calvin and Hobbes stopped ('95-96?). I made the Fayetteville (NC) newspaper with a strip about two bears depressed about never getting to read C&H again...

Megan and I had Biscuits and Gravy at Shakabrah one morning, I came back home and they were born!

They are both very excited to have kids read the strip too, so please share with little ones!

It is not the style that is Stowe, it is Gravy that suspiciously looks like Stowe himself.
