Hey kevin, is feed tacoma adding this low jpg compression?

It doesn't look that fuzzy on my browsers (Firefox and Safari). It looks pretty sharp even zoomed in.

She must have a digital phone, since her number is binary.

@RR: I scan BT at 350dpi, so the original files are like 4000 x 4000px. The Feed uploader shrinks it to 1600 x 1600px.

Don't get so excited kenny, she's a lesbian.

You mean "lesbeanian"
I'm curious how you came to that conclusion.
by fredo on 3/30/2012 @ 8:02pm
maybe it was the panel with the rainbow color design , Kenny better keep his beanpole away from that one.
by CaptainBritton on 3/30/2012 @ 8:54pm
That was just a Technicolor pan-shot. I imagine the lights of Beantown swirling around while there is a hazy glow from the number in his hand. She clearly has eyes for Kenny and his world has changed yet again.I'm a sucker for romance. I also like characters who change over time, and Kenny is proving that. Even if you only get four (and a third) panels.

Wait, did she kiss him or not?!
I want to try that number out!
Yes, it is awesome when you get a girl's number.... and then you discover she already has a boyfriend, and you're just gonna be in the friend zone.

OK, here we go:
@ Fredo: With Beantown, I play with panel layout and other things. Try new ideas, re-use things I like. The rainbow colored bar wasn't intended to be anything other than just trying a new design. Although, I do like Britton's explanation better. I may have to make that the "official" story.
If one follows the story, Beatrice's actions are inconsistent with someone who is of the lesbeanian persuasion.
@ IP: peck on the cheek. She's really good at keeping him thinking about her.
@ Cap'n B: I'm pleased that you enjoy the adventures of Kenny and his friends. The whole Beantown Saga is a single evolving story with characters that change over time. Their relationships change. Their life circumstances change. Their appearances change.
I typically dislike long-running comics that require their characters to be in stasis. The Family Circus is guilty of this. I tend to really like strips like For Better or Worse, Gasoline Alley and Jump Start. The characters age and change.
So, enjoy the Beantown journey. There is a lot of good stuff coming down the pike still. I don't want to spoil so I'll keep it vague: There is romance, injury, secrets and skeletons let out of the closet. And much more...
